Hello Night Howlers...
1/20/2017
It was one of the stormiest days in California this year, but that did not stop us from debuting our patches or showing up to see the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland. The park was almost empty and only the die hard of Disney fans were out that day covered in plastic ponchos or whatever they could find to use to stay dry. Around 1:00 PM we were told that the parade would most likely be cancelled and, full of disappointment, we were going to leave the park. We received a text from a close friend of the club with the weather update, and she was right! At 3:00 PM the storms passed and we had sun! The rain held off and the parade went on without a hitch! You could feel the excitement and energy of the people lined up along Main Street; those feeling nostalgic and those excited to see this classic for the first time. We were excited because not only were we about to see the MSEP, but we were finally able to peel off the plastic and reveal our patches in the park and in front of the Zootopia display. The parade started and it was everything we hoped it would be and more! The look on the faces of the young Night Howlers was totally worth the day spent in the rain. It was truly an amazing day in the park with family, friends, our patches and one of the most famous classic Disneyland parade of all time! It was a day of pure Disney Magic.

Debut...
1/12/2017
We are so excited for January 20! Not only is it the debut of our club but also the return of the Main Street Electrical parade. This Disneyland classic first debuted in the park on June 17, 1972 and ran until November 25, 1996. It then moved to Disney's California Adventure in 2001 and was referred to as Disney's Electrical Parade. I am so excited to see this classic parade return home to Disneyland! I grew up with this parade and was so excited to be able to share it with my daughter when it moved to DCA, but to now be able to share it with my entire family where it debuted is just nothing short of magical! I hope you join us to watch all of the spectacular lighted floats travel down Main Street once again! It will surely bring back nostalgic feelings for some while creating new memories for others and I cannot wait!
